Replying to the discussion on issues faced by Mumbai, Fadnavis informed that the BMC has sent DP to the state for approval on August 2,2017 and that the government has a statutory period of 30 months to approve the same. He informed that the DP is undergoing detailed scrutiny by the committee appointed for the same and the state would ensure that open spaces are not compromised.
Stating that there are three categories of residents staying at transit camps, Fadnavis said, those who have shifted there after vacation notice and who don't get a new house would be given ownership of their present house in the transit camp.
