City schools conduct teacher training Hyderabad: Schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) are much ahead in terms of upgrading teacher skills in artificial intelligence (Al) from the ensuing academic year. According to Sources, many city schools such as Delhi Public School, Nacharam, Pallavi Model School, Jubilee Hills Public School, Sanskriti School are contemplating introducing Al as a skill-subject for class8and class 9students. The Birla Open Minds International Schools, HyderaMany schools such as Delhi Public School, Nacharam, Pallavi Model School, Jubilee Hills Public School, Sanskriti School are contemplating introducing Al as askill-subject for students bad conducted a session on 'demystifying teaching on artificial intelligence' foritsteachers earlier this month. Similarly, Pallavi Model School became the first school in the citytoestablishan Allabatits Gandipet campus. The CBSE conducted training programmes for teain Al chers in a phased manner. In Hyderabad, Al-enabled SEWA programme was conducted by IBM-trained experts in select schools with Atal TinKering Labs. The IBM conducted two-and-a-half day training programmes for teachers to acquaint them with the Al curriculum. The CBSE board, in collaboration with IBM, also held fiye programmes for students selected from each school and their mentors which included Al-thon, UnBoxAlI a workshop on select areas on AI deployment, rapid prototyping and capstone project with mentoring and Showcase.
